چکیده
Objective: Reproductive biotechnology studies focus on the longterm storage of embryos (cryopreservation), embryo cultures, genome editing and transfer. Micromanipulation techniques in reproduction biotechnologies have an important role, especially investigating assisted reproductive technology laboratory animals. The aim present study was to investigate effect epididymal spermatozoa injected oocyte by intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) different mice strains. In this study, we evaluated vitro development post-ICSI derived using cauda sperm. Material Method: Female (8-10 weeks) were superovulated pregnant mare serum gonadotropin/human chorionic gonadotropin (PMSG/hCG) ~14h post hCG, sacrificed, oocytes collected. Spermatozoa from a 12-week-old used same strain for ICSI developmental potential evaluated. Finally, cultured 120 hours at 5% CO2 with 37°C. Results: results showed that two-cell B6D2F1 (79.31%) significantly higher than CB6F1 (56.26%) (p<0.05). While blastocyst rate comparable between both (68.75%) (69.57%) (p>0.05). Conclusion: is suitable ap plication success strains found be

Efficacy of intracytoplasmic sperm injection using intentionally cryopreserved epididymal spermatozoa.
Microsurgical epididymal sperm aspiration was a great advance in the therapy of patients with non-reconstructable, obstructive azoospermia, most notably congenital bilateral absence of the vas deferens. Using conventional in-vitro fertilization, pregnancies were rarely achieved because the rate of oocyte fertilization was extremely poor. However, the use of retrieved spermatozoa in conjunction ...

BACKGROUND Normal fertilization and ongoing pregnancy can be achieved using intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), even with severely immature spermatozoa. However, the published literature documents conflicting results as to the outcome of ICSI. METHODS Surgical extraction of spermatozoa in 111 ICSI treatment cycles performed over five years at the Assisted Conception Unit (ACU), Universit...

An infertile couple was referred for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) because of primary infertility and oligoasthenoteratozoospermia (OAT) in the male. It was observed that although the sperm cells presented with an unusual head size and multiple tails they were able to fertilize the oocytes after ICSI. Subsequent molecular cytogenetic analysis demonstrated de-novo chromosome abnormalit...

IVF has become a well-established treatment for certain types of infertility, including long-standing infertility due to tubal disease, endometriosis, unexplained infertility or infertility involving a male factor. Soon it became clear that certain couples with severe male-factor infertility could not be helped by conventional IVF. Extremely low sperm counts, impaired motility and/or abnormal m...
